This series includes information and resources about preparing to become a caregiver, options for and ways to pay for in-home care, managing caregiver stress and burnout, and caring for cognitive impairment. Join other UCI employees, retirees and caregivers for the Caregiver Workshop Series.

Wed, Mar 2, 2016 - When Someone You Love Has Alzheimer’s Disease
- When a loved one is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease the impact on family and caregivers is enormous. This course will address some of the basic considerations involved in caring for and communicating with a loved one who has Alzheimer’s disease. The course will cover some of the basic facts of the disease along with the unique challenges and stress it brings to the family. Limited Seating.
