The Caregiver Resources Workshop Series* is a Lunchtime Lecture Series
Addressing the Myriad of Issues, Options & Concerns Facing Caregivers

This series includes information and resources about preparing to become a caregiver, options for and ways to pay for in-home care, managing caregiver stress and burnout, and caring for cognitive impairment. Join other UCI employees, retirees and caregivers for the Caregiver Workshop Series.

  • Distance doesn’t mean you can’t provide comfort and care for your elderly relative. By devising care strategies, developing emergency plans and building a support system of family, friends and local resources, your elder can have the care and attention he or she needs. Wed, Mar 2, 2016 - When Someone You Love Has Alzheimer’s Disease

  • When a loved one is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease the impact on family and caregivers is enormous. This course will address some of the basic considerations involved in caring for and communicating with a loved one who has Alzheimer’s disease. The course will cover some of the basic facts of the disease along with the unique challenges and stress it brings to the family. Limited Seating. RSVP required: or 949-824-7769.
