Continuing Services for UCI Retirees

Note: These Services may be available to other UC retirees. Please contact our office.

Zoom and How Do I Use It?

Zoom is online/virtual conferencing program. Many free events are hosted through Zoom. UCI retirees have FULL ACCESS to Zoom through your UCInetID. Please email our office at retirees@uci.edu for details.

Click here for online answers to many questions, such as:
  • "I am an instructor/faculty/staff and I would like to use Zoom. How do I get started?"
  • "Where do I download the Zoom client? How do I sign-in after downloading the client?"
  • "How can I quickly join/start a meeting?"
  • "I've tried understanding 'How to' and I'm still having issues"

Anteater Recreation Center (ARC)

You are still eligible to use the ARC! For a Quarterly or Annual fee (click here to see current fees), UCI Retirees are eligible for ARC membership which includes use of the fitness equipment, gym, track, drop-in classes, heated outdoor pool, fee classes and many more programs.

Life Resources [Formerly "(Employee) Assistance Program (EAP)" for Retirees]

This service, staffed by experienced clinicians, is available by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A Guidance Consultant will refer employees to a local, licensed therapist or to resources in the community.

There are TWO ways to access Life Resources benefits:

  2. Visit Life Resources online at Life Resources and enter UCI's ID: UCIEAP3.

UCInetID and Email Access

All UCI Retirees now have the option to maintain their UCInetIDs and UCI email addresses! This new benefit will make it easier for you to keep those contacts that you have enjoyed here at UCI as well as receive notices regarding upcoming information sessions and events. Use the Self-Service link here or view and download the Email/UCInetID Continuance form on this website.

Note: To maintain or reinstate your UCInetID, please contact Jeri Frederick, Director, Center for Emeriti and Retirees, by phone: 949-824-7769, or email: retirees@uci.edu to obtain sponsorship.  Once you have been sponsored you will be able to access your UCI email.
