The UCI CER is the Center for Emeriti and Retirees. It is the administrative organization over the UCI Retirees and Emeriti Associations, coordinating programs and information related to retirees and emeriti benefits and providing access to services such as continuing UCI email, campus and community discounts and other resource

The UCIEA is the Emeriti Association. It is the official support group focused on Emeriti/ae issues (faculty and physicians with Academic Senate status). It is directed by an all-volunteer Executive Committee comprised of UCI emeriti/ae. It has representation on the Academic Senate Council on Faculty Welfare.

The UCIRA is the Retirees Association. This is the official support group focused on retired staff and is coordinated by an all-volunteer Board of Directors comprised of UCI retired staff and non-Senate faculty. Its purpose is primarily to provide social and educational activities for all emeriti and retirees.
